"I'd Love to Change the World", recorded by Jetta, is a song featured in the Person of Interest episode “Panopticon”. It is played at the end of the episode when Finch discovers a hidden tunnel in the New York City subway system. The song was also used in the promo for the season 4 premiere.

"I'd Love to Change the World" was originally recorded by the band Ten Years After. It was the third song on their album A Space In Time, released in 1971. The lyrics reflect the tenor of the late 60s antiwar, civil rights and "flower power" movements, and is a criticism of apathy.

Lyrics

Everywhere is freaks and hairies
Dykes and fairies, tell me where is sanity
Tax the rich, feed the poor
'Til there are no rich no more

I'd love to change the world
But I don't know what to do
So I'll leave it up to you

Population keeps on breeding
Nation bleeding, still more feeding economy
Life is funny, skies are sunny
Bees make honey, who needs money, No none for me

I'd love to change the world
But I don't know what to do
So I'll leave it up to you

Oh yeah!

World pollution, there's no solution
Institution, electrocution
Just black and white, rich or poor
Senators stop the war

I'd love to change the world
But I don't know what to do
So I'll leave it up to you
