Well, that was "a" building used in one of the shots. The bank lobby was definitely the Williamsburgh Bank Building. Marble floors aren't necessarily identifying, but there are silhouettes in the windows above the entrance whjich positively identify it. One of them showed a figure reading a book while sitting on a globe. Here's a shot of mine of the balcony above the entrance (one flight above the revolving door where Hersh stood):
Imthesu. what I like about Erie Basin Park is that 1, it's reminiscent of the area by the "Edward Koch" bridge in Queens where they took those shot looking across the East River to Manhattan. 2, instead of skyscrapers as a backdrop, it's got the 19th C warehouses, all the tugboats, and the Verrazano Narrows Bridge.
